Maeve is a Yoga Teacher, Writer and Nature Lover. She feels most at home by the sea, so much so that she called her business Ebb & Flow Yoga! Her poem was written in honour of all the brave cold water sea-swimmers and a recognition of the healing power of the sea. Traditionally in Ireland, Sunday Mass is held around 11am, the ceremonial gathering as a community is engrained within our culture. And now, for many, the ocean has become that place of worship. Maeve helped establish Salty Souls Cafe located on Banna Beach, Co. Kerry in the South West Ireland and finds great joy in seeing the local swimming tribe grow. The Beach & Café draw like-minded souls together, her poem celebrates this kinship, their rituals and the Sea.
